To Joan and Family:
Doug was a mentor to me early in my career at CSP Foods. His friendship and support continued through the years and everyone who knew him appreciated him as a kind and gentle man.Unfortunately I was out of the country and could not attend the service but want to offer our condolences to the family.

Doug was simply one fine man. He had the greatest sense of humour and always a unique comment especially when it was about his brother Sterling. We admired him for his strong faith and Christian values. Doug will be truly missed by everyone. Give us a call Joan when you are at the lake. We care.
Hugs, Tom and Martha Laxdal

Doug has been a friend since 1953.
His passion for life was obvious to us all
If you needed a shirt -He'd buy U a new one
Aye -a very enterprising Lad he was too.
He'd order you a suit from Montreal.!!!
He'd cut your hair for a small fee $$.
Bald Bean Bowl Brush Classic Mohawk
He did deliveries with SLBI stationwagon $$
He was not too fond of the U of S.
But had deep fondness for a Joanie gal ***

Dear Joan and Family, We are very saddened to read of Doug's death. He was so influential in so many people's lives. I always appreciated him, but really was blessed by his friendship and interest in my son Dan LeBlanc's life at Kinasao and LCBI. Thank you Doug for making a difference. We will never forget him.
