Sending my condolences to Doug's family. I had a regular squash match with Doug usually Friday's for quite a few years going at the PAC. Loved his attitude and spirit during our times together - a fighter and true competitor. He will certainly be missed.

Linda and family. As Linda knows I met Doug at Aden Bowman Collegiate in high school. Doug had a great personality and became a friend. Over the years I would see him periodically in Saskatoon. He was always a positive person with a kind word. I was
saddened to hear of his illness .
My deepest sympathy .
God be with you and comfort you

My sincerest condolences to Doug's family. I was a student under his direction in kinesiology 16 years ago at the old Williams building, and during the transition to the new PAC. I always enjoyed our conversations in the lab or down in the fit center. He will be fondly remembered.

I wanted to reach out to the family and share my sincere condolences. I was a worker from the PAC and I have to say it has not been the same without him. One of my favorite times of my shift was right around 10am, when Doug would come into work. I loved learning about the machines and how well his grandchildren were doing in their athletics. He always talked highly of his family and never missed an opportunity to show his pride for his family. Doug has had a very important and positive influence in my life. He will be greatly missed.

Was shocked to see this in yesterday's paper.
Our condolences go out to you and your family.
I still remember the trip we all took to the North shore of Oahu back in 78.
Doug was a great person. He will be missed.

I will always remember Doug as a great colleague, but better friend. He positively impacted so many people with his wisdom and unwavering desire to share with others what he knew. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
