Doug was a fun big cousin. He taught me to shoot baskets when I was a kid. I wasn´t good at all, and I was crying because everyone could make a basket except me. So he showed me how to do a granny throw, tear were gone, and I was making baskets!! He was always sweet to me.

I was lucky enough to be Doug´s mom. He came into this world right on time and was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. He loved his family and friends. I will miss him so much and wish he had not been taken so soon. I will see you someday and it will be a joyous reunion. Rest in peace my son.
