Douglas Eugene Maiden

I am so very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He was such a wonderful person. He spent many morning at BJ's Market talking with me and the other employees there. He had a warm smile and a kind word for everyone who came in to the store.

I am so sorry for the loss your family has suffered. It was obvious how much Doug and Betty cared for each other. They had smiles always ready to give away. I am glad that I received many of them.What a terrible loss for all of you. May the God of all comfort hold you close to Him through this terrible time. My heart breaks for you.

Scott and Phillip I am so sorry to hear about your parents. I just found out this morning or I would have been there. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

Scott and Karen: My heart breaks for you but also rejoices for Doug/Betty as they are together now for eternal life. They were such a loving couple and a treasure to everone they met! They hold a special place in my heart! I loved them both and admired their relationship! My prayers and thoughts are with you and the boys!

We're really sorry to hear of the passing of your brother. I know from experience that God will get you through these tough times. Jesus told his disciples that he would go and prepare a place for them more wonderful than they could imagine. You've been a big influence in my life and we've talked many times. One day we'll walk and talk in Heaven with Doug, and the rest of our families that are now there waiting on us, and we'll know what a wonderful place Heaven truly is. You and your family will be in our prayers.
