Douglas Arnold Maye

Doug at the young age of 61 passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Ross Memorial Hospital on October 12, 2022 after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Betty and Arnold Maye. Dear older brother to Beth (Keith) and Darlene (Dale). Loving husband of Heather (nee Spindloe) for 35 years. Proud father of Mark (Karen), twin daughters Jennifer and Jessica (Tim) and Matthew. Was due to be a granddad to Jessica's baby girl. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews, friends and other extended family members. Doug enjoyed farming and driving his tractors in his younger years and spending time at the Tew's cottage. He drove truck for over 30 years for different welding supply companies and was currently working for Linde. Celebration of Life to be held at Fairview Baptist Church in Lindsay, 130 Colborne St West, on Saturday, October 22. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow.
