Douglas McCarthy was the frontman and co-founder of the pioneering electronic music group Nitzer Ebb. He was greatly admired by his fellow artists and all those who knew him. May the love and the special memories you shared with him as a devoted loving husband and friend show just how much our lives were touched by him. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Douglas McCarthy. Remember hearing them for the first time in a club in Denver Colorado in 2005. Loved dancing to their music was electric! She you in the next life Douglas!

Very sorry to hear this as Nitzer Ebb was one of the industrial bands that hit me like a lightning bolt upon discovering them, with their intense soundscapes, when I was a student in the early 1990s. RIP to you, Lightning Man.
