We have such wonderful memories of Doug as LIONS Club president and as a member of the Pleasant Grove Club. Remember the Lions activities . partners' night, family picnic and city breakfasts. The Club was so proud of him for serving in Germany, and more delighted when he returned safely The Club members were saddened to learn of his passing. Our heartfelt sympathies are with you Elise and the children.

I attended school and church with Doug as a child and teenager in Somerville, AL, and still cherish my friendships with his Aunt Irene, sister Melinda, and other family members. Elise, we've never met, but having been LDS myself for almost 20 years, I know you have a special understanding of the eternal nature of families, and that while you will miss him, you also rejoice for him. May Heavenly Father's richest blessings of peace and comfort be with you and your children.
