I lived, played, went to family cabin/farm, basically taken in as one of there sons as a child. We experienced many tasks that taught me never to think you you cant do something, you just do it.Thank you for impacting my life. One of a kind man.

Dad,
It has only been a few weeks since we lost you and not a single day has been easy. I know you would want us to continue on as normal but it has been very difficult at times. You were such a huge part of my life and I have so many memories with you which I am so thankful for. It still just seems like you are just up north and that we will see you again come Thanksgiving time. Sophia misses you dearly and thinks of you everyday - she has been my strength through this so far; you would be so proud of her Dad. I made a promise to you in the hospital and it may be along road, but Dad, I am keeping that promise. You taught me well and I am not going to give up!
A smile did come to my face when we visited your grave site before we left Minnesota. There were about 12 wild turkeys walking around nearby, there were dear tracks across your grave on the fresh dirt and you are buried under an oak tree. I know you were smiling too!
I love you Dad and miss you more than ever. It was not your time to go . . .

I remember meeting at the Osieczaneks in the morning before school and walking to Ascension with the kids. I have fond memories of the friends from Plymouth Avenue. I am sorry for your loss.

May peace be yours dear brother Doug. Alas, death claimed you too soon, and removed you too early from those who loved you. Your departure has turned our joy into mourning and as we grieve in our selfishness at having lost you; thou are happy near our Heavenly Father; and this will inspire us with courage and resignation, as likewise the glorious hope of meeting again in a better world, where eternal joy awaits. Rest in Peace.

My condolences on the loss of Doug. We lived at 1333 Logan Ave North, next door to the Ocieczanek family in the late '50s and early '60s. My parents were Speed and Lee. Doug's mother Mary was like a Grandmother to me as a child.

Shirley and family, my sincere sympathies to you. I did not know Doug well, but he attended Don's committal in Menagha and I appreciated that--let faith, family and your friends help you through this difficult time.
