Douglas Harold Parker

Thank you for sharing Doug's obituary with me, I enjoyed reading it. Doug was an amazing person, he had a full life. We all loved his kindness and sense of humor. Tana and I were very happy that Doug was a part of our lives and he was such a great influence to Tori and Jt. Doug will always hold a special place in all our hearts.

We have been friends with Doug and Joy since 1989. We first met when we joined a Danville square dance group. We became a group of friends that included Doug,Joy, Diane &Jim Bellerive, Jane&Bob Wallace, Gail& Don Mettes and us. Such fun times we had with so much laughter, get togethers and even a few trips! Memories I will never forget.
Doug was a special person and we will always treasure our friendship. Peace and Love to Doug

We knew Doug for many years, when Joy introduced him as her future husband. Doug was a sweet sweet man , very gentle, would help anyone in need. It was so hard to see what the disease did to him. We feel honored to have known him and look forward to meeting up with him again. He really was a good good man. We miss you Doug Parker, you were so loved. I forgot to mention how smart he was, he would shock us with his knowledge of sports figures and dates and people. We took many trips with him and Joy, so we have lots of fun memories.. Our condolences to all his family.
