Joan, our sincerest sympathies at learning of Doug's passing. We loved our years with the North Stars and the Moose hockey fan clubs. Most of all just knowing you both. Peace to you now. You're in our thoughts.

St. Louis, Winnipeg, Chicago...anywhere there was NHL hockey and the North Stars, there was Doug. His passion for the game and especially the people around the game were what drew me toward him and Joan. Lots of trips and games and most of all fun. Doug was definitely one of the good people.

Although I haven't seen Doug in quite sometime I know my childhood wouldn't have been the same without him. Growing up at the Met and with the Stargazers around, especially Doug and his willingness to share the game we all love with a little one. I'm lucky to have known him, he will be missed.

Joan, if it weren't for you and Doug, I am sure I would not be so firmly entrenched in hockey. I learned so much from both of you! I often think of how many between period meetings of the Wild Booster Club Doug and I held at the top of section 110.

Even though I didn't know Doug very well, I enjoyed seeing him and Joan every Saturday at Old Country Buffet. He had a great sense of humor and was a very pleasant person to talk to. He will be greatly missed. My sincerest condolences to his family. Take comfort in knowing that he is at peace and is watching over you.
