Mr. Rae, I always enjoyed our shifts together at work. You were very well liked, such an excellent sense of humour...always had me and everyone laughing - you helped shifts go by quickly and enjoyably. It was a real pleasure to have known you, and to have worked with you.

I worked with Dougie Rae at the Don Jail. He was always in good humour, smiling, and I very much enjoyed working with him. So very sorry to hear of his passing. God Speed, Doug.

We worked together at the Don Jail he always impressed with his "fun facts" on various topics. He always get excited when he talked about curling and "throwing the rock". My condolences.

We were very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. It was always a pleasure to be in his company and a privilege to work with him as a Correctional Officer. Doug was often in good humour, very humane and always a true gentleman. He often spoke proudly and affectionately of his daughter. He has and will be missed. Our prayers go out to Doug and his family.

I am very sorry for your loss. We worked together at the Don Jail and Doug was a good officer and liked by all who worked with him. One thing that I recall was how proudly he would speak about his daughter and wife.
