Doug was an incredibly caring and compassionate man. He always had a smile on his face and did his best to ensures others were happy and welcomed. he was not a man of ego or pride, what mattered to Doug was people are treated decently and had a good time. His affable laugh, good humor, gentile spirit and commitment to building strong relationships with his wife, daughter and those around him will not soon be forgotten. Rest in peace Doug. Cookie and Lizz, my thoughts are with you both always.

Doug was a really funny and nice guy, i didnt really know him that well but he tought me alot of funny and old things. Things like the old t.v show called Mork From Ork and 1 of the things Mork said, was nanu-nanu. He will be missed by alot of people. In our hearts and in our minds.

Ive known the Rigo family all my life. Doug is my dads best friend.
I remember when I was little, my dad and Doug were going to a tigers game... I went with them, Doug came up with a nick name for me, "garbage gutts" because I ate 1 of everything they sold there! lol.
Doug stuck out his fist one day and told me to run into it.... so I did!!! (I was young)
His famous saying he always said to me is nanu-nanu (from mork & mindy). now that im a mother myself, he tought my children to say it too... i will never forget doug, funny, cool, and nice all in one.
sorry for your loss cookie and lizard.
