Douglas Erik Walton, 49, of High Point, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at his home.
Erik was born on April 15, 1968 in Greenville, SC, a son of Douglas Eugene and Andrea Walter Walton. He attended Maranacook High School in Readfield, ME and later graduated from South Iredell High School in Statesville, NC. Surviving are his wife, Beatriz Walton of the home; daughter, Andrea Walton of the home; mother, Andrea Walton of High Point; sister, Susan Walton of High Point; brother, Max Walton of Boothbay, ME.
At the request of the family, no formal services will be held.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Guilford County Animal Shelter or to an animal rescue of the donor’s choice.

I would like to offer my most deepest sympathy to the family. Erik was an Amazing person with a huge heart and an awesome sense of humor. I've greatly enjoyed working with him. He was always my go to person, anytime I needed help and would go out of his way to help someone. I admired the love he had for his family and I will miss him deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May the Lord comfort you in the days ahead.
