We are so sorry to hear of Dougs passing. We were just told today 5/7/11 about Doug. We have some great memories with you and Doug. Playing ball in the summer was alot of fun in Etna. Doug is a great man and would do anything he could for anyone who needed any help. I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers to give you strength through this tough time. He will be saddly missed for sure. Always have the great memories to give strength & know he will always be watching over you all. Heaven has taken another great angel. If there is anything that we could do for you please do not hesitate to call us or contact us and we will be there for you. I will leave my e-mail for you.

I first met Doug when I started working at the Etna store, and always knew him as a kind hearted well liked person. As time went on I began a friendship with him... then later started dating ShaneShaw and he became Uncle Doug which just made him even better in my eyes. He was a very good man and will be missed by all who knew him.

For as long as I can remember "Uncle Doug" has been a man to look up too. Hard working easy to talk to and always smiling. He taught me many things and was role model, friend and as close to family as it gets. I will miss him more than I can express but take comfort in knowing that I am who I am today because I knew him..
