Renice, it was so nice talking with you yesterday. I feel so inadequate and helpless, being so far away from you. You are strong and will get through this.
I can just see Doug at Rainbow's Bridge, playing with all of the SSRR dogs, Razz, et al. They must have greeted him with trumpets and salutes.
I love you, Girl. Patrice Lee

Doug and I worked together during the first NATO Training Mission to Iraq. It was a great experience, and we developed a long-enduring friendship.
I learned a great deal from Doug and will be in his debt for the rest of my military service.
I count him a a mentor and friend, and I will miss seeing him when I come to Norfolk.

Isa 40:28-31
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
