Dr. Brian Deschamps, DPM Obituary
Dr. Brian Peter Deschamps, DPM, of Vernon, Connecticut, and Hilton Head Island, SC, passed away on May 5, 2024, in New Britain, CT, at the age of 69. He was born on September 30, 1956.
Brian was an excellent podiatrist who touched the lives of many. He was a friend to everyone he met, always had a smile and a good story. His colleagues and patients loved and respected him, as did his community. He found joy in running, biking, motorcycles, backyard pool parties, and holiday gatherings with neighbors and family, especially with his brother and best friend Tom. Brian cherished his role as a mentor and was a special friend to his nephew Dan and niece Laura.
He is survived by his daughters Danielle Gale (Jason) and Gabrielle Nocera (Alex), as well as his grandchildren Miranda and Brady. Brian is also survived by his brother Thomas Deschamps (Joyce) and their children Daniel (Meghan) and Laura, his sisters Margaret Deschamps (Jon) and Patricia Deschamps (Ronald).
Brian was born to Dorothy (Phillips) and Dr. Stephen Deschamps. After
Dr. Stephen Deschamps passed Brian became.devoted to his stepfather, Dr. H. Parker Lansdale. After receiving his BA from Central Connecticut State University Brian graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He built his own practice in Vernon and in 2003 was awarded Connecticut's Podiatrist of the Year.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dr. Brian Peter Deschamps, DPM, may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Dr. Des Champs was our "personal podiatrist" for more than 30 years. Such a nice man and skilled practitioner. So sorry to learn about his death. Condolences to all who loved him.

Dr. Deschamps helped me to deal with my foot pain last year, was patient and very kind to me. I will remember him as a caring practitioner and I know he will be missed.

So sorry to see this news. We have fond memories of spending time with Brian, Shirley, Buckethead and Sox during morning walks at the beach. We miss them all and hope they are reunited at a heavenly beach. Our condolences to family and friends.

My entire family considered Dr. Deschamps a wonderfully skilled doctor. His friendly manner and compassion made even surgical procedures seem less difficult.

Brian was a beloved member of our HHI Dog Group and we will miss him dearly. He loved to prepare Christmas breakfasts at the beach house while Buckethead & Sox romped with all the other dogs.
His New Year's Day parties were legendary and he always made sure that we started the New Year off on the right foot ( pun intended ) !
Our deepest sympathies to his daughters and their families, his brother and sister and their extended families.
