Dr. Harriet Boyd Obituary
Avenue, Tampa, Florida where Apostle Mark Jones is the pastor, with a local pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Quincy, Florida on Monday, April 25, 2011.
Dr. Harriet was the daughter of the late Mr. Carl A. Bryant and Mother Annie P. Bryant. She was born on November 11, 1955 in Quincy, Florida and has resided in Tampa, Florida since 1983. She attended school in the Gadsden County School System,
Shanks High School. She obtained her Masters in Education.
Dr. Boyd was preceded in death by her father, Carl A. Bryant; sister, Carolyn Ann Bryant and brother, Odester J. Bryant.
Dr. Harriet is survived by her beloved husband, longtime companion, and friend Dr. David A. Boyd of Tampa, Florida. She is also survived by 3 daughters, Joiada Boyd-Blyden (Kennard), Haryjoivid El-Psalms Boyd and Joscelyn Hope Radiance Boyd all of Tampa, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Keziah, Kayden and Jaida Blyden; mother Annie P.
Bryant and other relatives and friends.
Her remains will repose from 6-8 p.m. Friday April 22, 2011 at Harvest Time Ministries Interna

Dr. Harriet Boyd, A true Mother of Zion. A phenomenal woman of God. I will miss her. She didn't have to do anything but be there; her very presence illuminated and shifted an atmosphere. I was at somewhat of a crossroads or in a valley of decision and at a crucial time in my life and ministry, and This woman of God discerned me. She took me to the side and encouraged me, spoke into my life, and literally put me back on track, I will never forget her or what she has imparted to my life. Truly a God sent. Praying with you Apostle Boyd and with your daughters and your entire family and with Harvest Time. Love ya much!

To Annie Pearl, and the Boyd Family. My Prayes and Love are with you. I will always remember the good times of growing up in the Bryant Family home. What wonderful times we had. Dr Boyd, Sis Harriet was a woman after God's own heart. She ministered to us weep with us and laughed with us, most of all she wanted to keep the brotherhood together in love. I love and appreiciate you and Mother Boyd and I will dearly miss her. With much love until we see her again.

I was truly saddened to hear of Harriet’s passing. She was always a beautiful person with a very loving spirit. Harriet was always a friend and a wonderful sister-in-law during my marriage to her brother. She and David so eloquently performed our marriage ceremony and I will cherish that memory forever. David, girls and Ms. Annie Pearl, be comforted in knowing that Harriet now resides with the Lord that she loved so dearly. She is now an angel watching over each of you.

Harriet and I shared many fond moments together in our early childhood. Harriet generously shared Mama Hattie with me who we both loved greatly. Mama Hattie was justifiably proud of her Harriet. My heart is at peace knowing these two heavenly souls are united again. Harriet's family is in my thoughts and prayers during this time of profound grief.

Dr. Boyd created a wonderful young lady, Miss Hope, who I had the privilege and joy of teaching for two years. Dr. Boyd will live on in her children and grandchildren and in the lives of all those whom she touched.
