Dr. James Edwin Speir, DVM

Jim touched my heart and made me smile. He was silly at BBQS, but all business in the vet office. His insight and medical vocabulary were remarkable. We had many adventures. This was on out way to swim with whale sharks and sea lions in the Sea of Cortez, alongside my pug, Buster, who Jim helped live freely and happily until well after 16. Love you, Jim.

Jimbo! you will always be remembered fondly by anyone that had the pleasure of working with you. you played your music in surgery and sang along and danced. so much goodwill and humor, and a deep love for all animals entrusted to your care. you were an expert veterinarian, and a kind person with a big heart. you are missed here on earth, but we know you are in heaven enjoying yourself!

Oh Jimbo. How we miss your easy-going, laid-back, calm demeanor. I only had the pleasure of knowing you for a short time but I honor our time spent together as friends. You had such a gentle way about yourself. Your vocabulary was unmatched and your stories from your childhood I was able to immediately connect with. Your phone calls, your orneriness, your passion for saving anything living were all qualities that were the upmost example to us all as human beings. There´s not a day that goes by that you´re not with us in spirit. We miss you tremendously.

Jim although you are no longer here in the flesh your free spirit lives actively with me not just in spirit as they say but i truly feel your active presence, spark, and fire for life and adventure in my life daily. Your kind and humble nature in life and your need for more proof and conversation to dig deeper on how things work in life and nature led us to a phenomenon of coincidence w synchronicity that we saw in nature, adventure, life, and death. We learned together that what wad beyond Coincidence w Synchronicity was the Celestine Prophecies which became our proof of God. Thank you for being a Champion on Earth for animals and the free spirit in life that strengthened my faith in Jesus and God in this earthly life and the next in Heaven. I know you made it brother and i see your smile, your wind blown hair and your arms and your wings wide and open just like your heart and spirit have always been. I love you and i miss seeing you in the flesh but i we will energetically embrace again in Heaven my best friend. Say Hi to Rawley, Uncle Denny, Jesus and God for me. I can´t wait to be reunited in that way with you all when my time here in this adventure and journey is over and its time for me to complete my transformation and Ascension- Faith and Hope on this plane will get me to the next plane w a kind and loving spirit

LOVE that is Jim- pure love. We met in Coronado & right away we were long lost siblings that found each other. He was goofy, sweet, kind, compassionate, goofy ( 2x because he was a ray of sunshine and made me laugh). Shirley I send you all my love & the world is less bright without Jim. My lovely brother - I love you & miss you xoxo

Jim was the most fun, easy going colleague I´ve ever worked with. Although we only worked together one year, he continues to stay in my thoughts and memories. We enjoyed listening to Yacht Rock radio and discussing life and what the future held for us. I am so grateful to have known this amazing person. I wish I had more time to spend with him and his beloved cats.

I remember sitting in a restaurant with and another friend and I was amazed how he paid attention to the conversation.

To the One and the Only Dr.James Edwin Speir. My brother, my wing man, my companion who traveled down this path of life and we came to many cross roads together. We lived and we made mistakes and we had adventures and we grew and we evolved and we experienced Coincidences - I think not. Celestine Prophecy together. We found the proof we were looking for and we found nature and we found God snd it strengthened our bonds and our Faith. Amen.

To my vet school roommate and best friend for 30 years . I wrote a beautiful First entry on this legacy.com last night and uploaded all these pics but it failed to go through so i will rewrite and post but let´s get these pics out.
