Dr. Rajesh Patel

My condolences to Cathy and Lodusca and all Captain Dr. Rajesh Vinod Patel, MD it is with great sadness that this nation has lost a wonderful medical doctor and friend.

I was stationed in the military and got to know their family. Time travels quickly and we travel all over the world, but one remembers kindness in medical care and the families that support them in peacetime and during war. Some individuals stand out amongst others and he was such a great physician and friend.

It was an honor and a privilege to work with this great man, Doctor and teacher. He enjoyed teaching us as we worked with him. He treated his employees like family. He could adjust my neck and get rid of migraines or sinus pressure headaches. Just the other day I said I wish I could get a doctor Patel cracken. He will be greatly missed. Mrs Cathy you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

It was a delight to share a love of country music with Rajesh. I knew him briefly, but enough to sense the man he was in healthier days. God speed Rajesh.

So very sad to hear about Rajesh. He was a great friend in med school. I remember his great sense of humor, gigantic smile and enthusiasm. I still recall the times he would come over and we would attempt to make Indian food, both of us laughing hysterically as it tasted SO bad we cud barely eat it. What a great guy he was! Rest In Peace Rajesh .... U will be missed !!

Sorry to learn of Rajesh´s death. He had a unique practice in Washington Island and I am sure he touched many lives. I have great memories of our time together at WVSOM.

Dr Patel was such a great man, Doctor and friend! I enjoyed working with him for many years.always teaching us and taking care of us!! Gone far too soon!!! Love and prayers for all the family!!! Bill and Beverly Price

Dr Rajesh Patel was a great human being and loving and caring brother. He was very passionate for everything he did. Be it study or care and love for family. He would take time out of his busy life to check on family members to make sure they are all is well. He was always willing to help others. Our prayers for the Family.

My husband Nitin and I met Raj and Cathy in 1995, here in Columbus I remember Raj loved riding his motorcycle, and Kathy learning to make Indian food. They were a wonderful couple and we enjoyed spending time together when we could. My heart goes out to Cathy, their children and the rest of the family. Rest peacefully Raj.

Dr Patel was a wonderful doctor,and friend. The last time I saw him was at walmart and he recognized me and he hadn’t seen me in a few years. It was so good to see him .So sad to hear of his passing. God Bless this family . Prayers for peace and comfort. Paula Gray

Our heartfelt sympathies. Age 60 is way too young to be leaving this world. We have no doubt that his loving compassion will be extended in a world beyond! And to Cathy, thank you for all your loving care!!!

Had the pleasure of working with him for several years as medical director with Amedisys Home Health. He truly cared for patients and enjoyed teaching staff. My thoughts and prayers are with the family!
