Dr. Richard Hansen Jr. Obituary
Richard was born on August 27th, 1946 in Passaic, New Jersey to Richard and Dorothy Hansen. "Richie" grew up with his beloved sister Louise "Weez". He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He had a passion for horseback riding in the Badlands, automobiles of all makes and models, and speculation surrounding each seasons upcoming MN Vikings draft (which always seemed more interesting to him than what happened on the field itself).
Following his service in the United States Air Force he attended college in Cleveland, Ohio. While working at the Cleveland Clinic he met the love of his life, Kathy. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathy (Cemes) Hansen, his children; Kimberly, Brent (Allison), Brad (Jen), and Jason (Kylie) his grandchildren; Blake, Theodore, Archer, Elyse, Winstin, and Griffin, and his sister Louise. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the J.A. Weedum Hospice in Brooklyn Park.
We will be together out there, out where dreams come true. We love you Papa.
