It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of former Fresno, California resident and Professor Emeritus, Dr. Sayed A. Badr, age 81. He loved his students and colleagues and wanted nothing but absolute success for them all.

My sorrow and sadness about the loss of professor.
Sayed Badr.
I will never forget his courage
Sincerity and honesty.
In his own family room in the 80's he confronted
Some other egyptian Americans trying to cause harm to me and my family.
And told them this is a sin
Not acceptable to God.
Also as a devote moslem he attended regularly kuran the holy book teaching by the late professor khorshid of fresno state along with others these two memories tell a lot about him.
May he rest in peace.
