We have known Bill since he lived in Medina Ohio and our children went to school together. He was a friend and always committed to his community and his children. His military service is greatly appreciated as was his friendship. He will always be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him. We met the Evankos for the first time at a Sandusky Yacht Club rendezvous at Kelley's Island and immediately became fast friends. Bill was retiring and they were looking forward to their married life together. We had many good times together, cruising and visiting, including a memorable trip to Key West. Fond memories.
