Dear Vesna, Ashley and family,

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet mother. When I think of Auntie D, I remember how she would greet me at the Manion house with such a genuinely warm smile and even a few words of Portuguese. I always loved that! I ran into her years ago at Champlain Mall and we had such a nice visit that day. I think that’s where I first learned of her Portuguese vocabulary. She was so friendly and made me feel like family.
