In memory of
Robert Farley
March 10, 2008
I went to school with Drew for several years at Silver Creek Jr./Sr. High school. Although I never really got to know him, he was always very polite any time I spoke with him. However, I do have two very vivid memories of Drew, 1 Happy, 1 Sad. First the happy...Drew and his best friend at the time, Mike Evanoff, were acutally filmed at a Poison concert in Louisville, Ky. A cameraman came up to Mike Evanoff and asked him to do something crazy. Mike responded by "punching" Drew in the stomach. This footage made it to the final production of Poison's "Ride The Wind" video. Check it out if you get the chance. It only lasts for a second or two, but they are there!
Next the sad... Mike Evanoff deceased after an auto crash on Bardstown Road(Louisville, KY). I remember seeing Drew at the visitation and telling him how sorry I was.
I was shocked to find this news of Drews passing.
I would like to express my deepest heartfelt condolences to Drew's wife and family. May God bless and keep you all in his care.

Tara and the rest of your family,
I received my Bellarmine Newsletter today and saw the notice about Drew. He was such a joy to know at school...was always good for a laugh or a bear hug. I am so sorry to hear of your loss, but know that he touched a lot of people, and some of us will never forget him.

To the Wessel Family: Just learned of Drew's death and sadness touched my heart. We went to Bellarmine together. Lots of fun memories - his smile could light up an entire room. They say grief is the price we pay for love. May God bless all of you now and always.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Drew was a good friend who I lost touch with over the years. I remember fondly my old neighbor and coworker. He had a way of enjoying life and of putting things in perspective. Thanks for all of the great conversations and laughs Drew. You'll be missed.

Drew was the kind of person that we all strive to be like. I met him at Bellarmine (he was my residence advisor!) and continued to see him through J.R. He was always funny, thoughtful, and true to himself. I only wish I could have been as put-together during my college years
as he was!
Tara, I have thought about you every day since this happened, and I'll continue keep you in my thoughts in the future. No words can take away the pain, but keep Drew's spirit in your heart and you will never be without him.

He was such a great friend, mentor, and comrade. His presence will be sorely missed. Foreign students like me felt at home at Bellarmine, even when we were 10,000 miles away from our family because of Drew.
I will miss him humor, his views on life and his advice. On your worst day, he knew how to make you feel better. I hope to share another glass of WODKA with you at the pearly gates, my friend!
My thoughts and prayers are with Drews family during this untimely loss. Take solace and find strenght. God takes those he loves best first.

Dear Tara and Family
I just heard about Drew's sudden passing and I want to express my condolences to you from those of us at Bellarmine University who knew Drew both as a student and then after graduation as manager of Shenanigans. I will remember his love of conversation, especially current events, politics, and sports; as well as his friendly greeting - "hi doc, this one's on me".
My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Sincerely,
