To Drew's family, my deepest condolences. I just learned of Drew's passing when I tried to text him to give him an update about Boomer (fka, Connor at the shelter) who he brought to us last year to foster. He later helped us adopt him. I wanted to tell him how well Boomer was doing a year later (heart worm and cancer free) and how grateful we were for his time and compassion when he drove Boomer to our house and stayed to make sure both Boomer and we were settled. I think it was over an hour drive, and Drew seemed happy to be finding a home for another animal. It was clear he loved animals and his family. He talked about his dogs and his kids. He left such a warm impression, and I knew dogs were going to find homes with him in their corner. I am so very sorry he is no longer here for his young family. I'll attach the photos I was going to send to Drew. Again, my sincere condolences.

I met Drew a few years back when I was helping at Lancaster Animal Services and Hutchins contracted to bring in stray animals. He was a sincere and professional Animal Control Officer. I am simply devastated with his loss. Rest easy sir, we'll take it from here.

I never met Drew, but it is clear from the comments he was a very special person. My heartfelt condolences to his family. I am sure the difference he made in the world was felt and his absence will be felt even more.

I'm deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our fellow ACO. Their dedication to animal care was evident, and they will be missed. My thoughts are with their family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing him personally, as someone in animal services, I have immense respect for the dedication he showed to this challenging field. Drew´s hard work and genuine spirit have undoubtedly left an impact on those he served and worked alongside. Drew was a wonderful son. He always stepped up when needed. He took care of us and he took care of the animals. He was kind and considerate and one of a kind. He enjoyed cooking and eating. He always tried to better himself. He will be missed. Love your Mom

Drew spent a lot of time at our house. I remember the good `ole dial up internet days, and how Drew, Patrick, and Melissa sat on the end of our bed while we were attempting to buy them tickets to the Summer Sanitarium Tour to see Metallica, and so many other bands they loved. When we finally made connection and were able to purchase the tickets, they went crazy !!! They had such a good time at the concert, it made fighting the internet so worth it !!!

Drew was my brother and he helped to inspire me to do greater things. He always knew the right things to say. I will miss him dearly. I love you brother and will never forget you!

Drew was my close first cousin. He was about 5 weeks younger than me. We grew up together when our families would get together (which was often) and we played like boys should. Outside and using our imagination. We lost touch in our early 20's but reunited for several years in our adulthood. He truly had a heart of gold and was loyal. I'll miss him while we're here on Earth.

Drew is my bigger brother and every memory that I have my brother is some where in the mix. We are truly saddened by the loss of him. Brother. I love you so much and I will continue carrying your memory in with everything I do. You are in my heart and in my thoughts Daily.
