Drisana Feliz Evans

August 5, 1984 - September 15, 2025

Drisana Feliz Evans passed away on September 15, 2025, after a brief but courageous battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. She was 41 years old.

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Drisana most recently made her home in Poulsbo, Washington, where she lived a life full of love, strength, and adventure.

Drisana was many things to many people-a devoted mother, a loving sister, a loyal friend, and a brave soul. Her greatest joy in life was being a dedicated and deeply loving mother to her 16-year-old daughter, Jordan, who survives her.

An adventurer at heart, Drisana embraced new experiences with courage, curiosity, and a vibrant spirit. Her warmth, resilience, and fierce loyalty touched all who knew her. Most importantly, Drisana loved Jesus deeply. Her faith gave her strength, and in her final days she was ready, unafraid, and confident in the hope of heaven.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Merry Ann Evans. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jordan; her father, Dale Simle; her sisters, Beth Moos and Melody Simle; her uncles and aunts, Jon and Shirley Parrott, and Don and Ele Parrott; as well as many close cousins and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Details about a celebration of life will be shared on Drisana's Facebook page in the coming weeks.

Drisana's light lives on in all the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

I've known Drisana for over half our lives. We didn't see each other nearly as much as either of us would have liked, but she was always there, just a phone call away.

It's hard to imagine that's no longer the case.

Sending all the love I have to her daughter and the rest of her loved ones. A bright light has left the world.

Drisana was my very first friend when I moved to Poulsbo. She welcomed me in with open arms. She encouraged me to embrace the cold weather and to get out and explore my surroundings. She brought me on her adventures and we laughed and talked about our pasts and the challenges we have faced. We sat together at football games and she taught me the ways of Washington State PTSA. I'm forever grateful for her kind heart and her willingness to share her life with a new person for Hawai'i. You have left the world too soon my friend. I'll miss our coffee dates together. Until we see each other again my friend.

It was a privilege to know you. You were so self aware, absolutely honest, and more full of life than many people. I loved when you came by on your birthday wearing a crown and celebrating yourself! That says a lot about how you cared for yourself and others, especially Jordan. Jordan was your central purpose and everything you did, you did with her best interests in mind. You laid a strong and sturdy foundation that she will build upon all the rest of her life. I'm so sad you had to leave this earth early, but I know we will meet again in heaven, where you'll likely be organizing the angel choir, cloud jumping group, or some other social network. You lived a beautiful life Drisana!

Rest in peace, Drisana. It´s been a while since I saw you, but I remember fondly our hike in Arctic Valley and how you took in Kinley when he needed a loving home. Your kindness and hope lives on.

You have always been such a bright light in my life. I will love you and cherish the memories we made forever. You taught me that life is short and to make the most of every day. You inspire me to become the happiest version of myself. I love you Drisana. I will see you on the other side.

It's hard to believe you are no longer with us. It's so heartbreaking and you'll be deeply missed. You had a kind heart and a beautiful love for Jesus. I'm sure you're dancing up in heaven with him right now. My prayers are with Jordan and the rest of the family. One day we'll see you again.
