I had the profound pleasure of working with Dr. Acker as the receptionist in the President's Office at Kansas State University when I was in my early 20's. I was tasked with transcribing all of Dr. Acker's dictation. The detail he provided me for his letters such as exact past dates when referring to something was absolutely amazing. His ability to recall names and dates was simply outstanding. He was so kind to me. My respect for his brilliant mind and thoughtful personality was tremendous. I feel so fortunate to have known and worked with Dr. Acker. Blessings to your family.
