DUANE FOY

I've been thinking of Duane trying to track him down to say hello. So sad to hear of his passing. He was my JV tennis coach at Euclid. I helped with Pole Doctors during summers after college. Attached is the shirt I still have (and wear).

I know there is a Browns superbowl on the way. You are working every angel in heaven to give them a hand.

Duane and I met 25 years ago & though we have not been in communication for several years I feel a great loss of friend, who has been on my mind for several months.

Reading messages reminded me of the many memories of Duane- his mom, having the privilege of participating in he & Paula's wedding, Cleveland Indians, "Pole Doctor", "Koenig's", Paychex and his great personality and a great person.

I'm sure Duane is smiling on his family and us.

I just found out about Duane's passing and was very shocked. He was such a nice guy and I wanted to relay our condolences to his family. I've only known him for a few years of working at First Niagara but my daughters and I always enjoyed talking to him at work. The world has lost one of the good guys. Paula, So sorry to hear this news. Duane came to Paychex in Cleveland and sought mentoring. Little did I know I was BEING mentored. What a great example to so many and, save for my father, I knew of no bigger Cleveland Indians fan. RIP, Duane - Comfort and memories of joy to you and the kids, Paula. Steve Begert-Clark

I know how much Duane meant to you, but I don't know if you will ever know exactly how much he meant to every person he encountered. There will be hard times ahead when you think of all the moments that you will not have him for, but try to look back at all the moments you were able to share with him. Don't be afraid to reach out to those people he knew, because we all care about you too. Your husband and father was proud of you and wanted to show you that fact by taking such an active part in your lives. Everytime I talked to him, he only wanted to talk about your accomplishments, and not his own. Duane was the big brother that I never had, the boss I always wanted, and the good friend that I will truely miss.

I knew Duane from Euclid High School. Along with playing many tennis matches with Duane, he was able to get me and my best friend a job at the Cleveland Profession Tennis Tournament. We also played ALOT of cards through our high school. I can still remember his Laugh! My thoughts are prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear about Duane... I remember coming over for dinner while duane cooked out on the grill and I would play with Bailey...What a great guy...so sorry...My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Paula, Bailey, and Sydney....Bill and I are so blessed to have had such a wonderful friend in our lives. Duane was the BEST...He always had a smile on his face and always a kind word about someone or something...He will be truly missed....Keep all those memories in your heart and he will ALWAYS be with you....

Duane was used by God to give my precious daughter her first job--at Paychex. I only met Duane once, but Gwen spoke so highly of him and how he was special. I mourn with you in your great loss. Duane was a wonderful guy.

Foy Family...I remember Duane from the Utopia Beach Club Neighborhood where we grew up. He was always so kind and had a contagious laugh and smile. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers...

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Your husband/dad was a wonderful person. Everyone could see through his actions how much he cared about his family. From helping with elementary school things through his dedication with hockey, your husband/dad was always there. He will be missed so much. Please know that your family is being lifted up in prayer.

To the Foy Family- I was sorry to hear of Duane's passing. We were in school, from kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary, thru high school at Euclid Sr High. He was a funny and good guy and he will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Dear family of Duane Foy, you have my sincere sympathies. I remember Duane from elementary school through high school. He was one of the few with a big personality that was hard to forget. Duane was a sports fan that had an encyclopedic memory of statistics and was a tremendous tennis player. Memories of Duane will live on for all his friends and family.

I only got to know Duane for a short time at Shults. I liked him a lot, he was a true gentleman. We all are shocked because in a short time he became our friend.
