I am sorry to be so late with this message, but I just found out about Duane's passing. I haven't seen him for many years. Duane was one of the kindest, funniest, and most special people I ever met. He had the most infectious laugh I have ever heard, and always had a funny or zany story on hand. If he knew he made you laugh he made sure to keep you laughing as he had so much laughter and goodness in his heart he just had to share it. I remember many times laughing till we cried over shared nuttiness. RIP Duane. A good man.

I love you and miss you so much Dad. You were my best friend and the best dad to me. Everyone that knew you loved you. You lit up every room you walked in with your laughter and smile. Everyone wanted to be your friend and you were the best to everyone. I watched and helped you battle heart disease many years and you were so strong. You were brave. You never gave up. You are my hero. My heart is forever broken. My life will never be the same. RIP Dad, and I´ll see you again someday. I love you forever.

Duane was an inspiration. He was generous, welcoming and always knew how to bring a smile to your face. He was simply "cool" and loved his family unconditionally. His love for music and performing was infectious. I remember listening to him sing and watching him dance, and he would always light up the room. Heck, he even let me borrow his boots a couple times. I always joked the boots made me a few inches taller, but it wasn´t the raised soles that made me feel like a taller man, it was the mere fact I was able to walk in his shoes for a bit. He was a great man!

I can't quite remember the first time I met Duane, it could have possibly been at Jonathan and Kisma's wedding. I remember feeling a loving, kind and funny spirit with his presence. Duana was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather. He brought such joy to all his extended family. Our two families were united by marriage, and created by God.

So sorry for your loss, I only met your dad twice at your house. Very friendly and made you feel welcomed. Keep his memories in your heart never let them go. He will be your guardian angel for sure. I remember stories you told us about him being an amazing person. It will get easier in time but let it come to you naturally. You have an amazing support system and family.

RIP Duane. You were truly `one of a kind´. An amazing person...Father, Husband, Grandpa, brother , friend.
Your smile and hearty laugh will be sorely missed.
When you set your mind to do something there was nothing you couldn´t do.
I owe you more than I could ever pay....you were the best friend I ever had.
Your life touched and enriched countless others.
