My condolences to the family.
Without the stewardship and his loving devotion the Mission Inn wouldn't be what it is today. He saved the Mission Inn and he preserved its grandeur. He was a true historian and preservationist! Being a resident of Riverside in my younger years and living on the corner of Lemon St and Third my memories of the Mission Inn are en-grained in me. I love this hotel! Thank you, your legacy will live on!

I know he will be missed by many, my sincere condolences to Kelly and their children. Doug was a very honest man, he and Kelly, got word one time when an ill-intentioned force was aligning against me. They put an end to it, for no reason other than it was the right thing to do, and I will never forget it. Thank again Doug, RIP.

A pioneer in the food industry, his willingness to try new things opened up the idea of the frozen burrito to so many. He continued to expand in the business world by getting into real estate later. A great businessman. Sincere condolences to the Roberts family, so very sorry for your loss. May God give strength and comfort to you in your tine of loss.
