Una, Gretchen and I wish to extend to you and your family our heart felt sympathy upon hearing of Duane's passing. I still have and use the Bible and Strong's Concordance you folks gave to me back in 1976. We know that the LORD will keep you all in His perfect peace as your hearts and minds are stayed upon HIM - Isa. 26:3.

When I think of Duane I smile as I remember his witty comments. Despite being plagued with health issues he never failed to smile and joke. He leaves behind a big hole that will be difficult to fill. May he rest in peace!

It seems like yesterday, when I first met Duane at Cony High. We both were good friends and graduated in 1951. People, the caliber of Duane are few and far between. PEACE BE WITH YOU.

I remember Duane so well. We were members of the same class at Cony High in Augusta. He was quite the guy, everyone loved him. Peace Duane.

I only knew Duane for a short time many years ago. I have remembered him for a long time due to a lasting impression upon me of how a Chritian really walks/talks. RIP my friend. We shall meet again.

I am sad to know of Duane's passing and want to share a quick memory with his family about the man Duane was in real life. When I worked in Hallowell, Duane and I would meet several days a week at Bolley's when we both went there for coffee mid-mornings from 1987-1991. He always had a huge smile on his face, a hearty handshake and was happy to see me as well as the other "regulars" at the coffee shop. I respected him greatly for his kindness, his ability to minimize his challenges and always offer his help to everyone and anyone he thought might need it. The world would be a better place if more people could be just like Duane Tracy. Duane's family is blessed to have had a man of his caliber as part of their family for so many years. The few times I have been to Bolley's since 1991, I have always hoped to see Duane waiting at the counter with that big smile and sinceren handshake.to greet me upon my entrance. RIP my friend.

Duane provided everyone who knew him great inspiration. In spite of his health issues and looming demise- he always had a smile, an outreached hand, and an upbeat attitude. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Duane and Una have been like my adopted parents, and they treated me like a son. I got saved at Felloowship Baptist Church while thyer were members there. I was looking forward to seeing him and Una in July, but I know look forward to seeing him in heaven with our Saviour and Lord. Duane was one of the most godliest men I ever knew and he sure knew how to be an example to, and execise patinece with a young boy newly save and full of energy. I would have to say that if I were to list the things in my life that matter (besides salvation and God), one would be that I knew a man named Duane Tracy. Now that he is with our Saviour, I will forever try to be available for my adopted mother Una. Una, if you read this just know that I love you more than words can say or actions convey. Please stay in touch, as will I. 2 Timothy 4:6-8
In Christ-like love!!

So sorry to hear of Mr. Tracy's passing. When I worked at Depositor's Trust, Key Bank, Mr. Tracy was our "Telephone Man" when we had a problem. So glad I got to know him.

Duane was a man who I had the utmost respect for..a true man of God who my family will miss dearly. He is one of the best people I have ever known. I miss him but I am also glad he has gone to his reward, where he is, he does not need O2 or a cane. Una and family you are all in our thoughts and prayers, if you need anything do not hesitate to call for us. God Bless

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." I'm so happy for Duane that he can be with Jesus. I know how much he will be missed by those of us still here.

Duane...How does one say "Goodbye" toa Maan of Faith like Duane? You don't..you sasy "so long for now. You say "See you down the log." He was always there to offer help..thus it was a privelege to help one of his twins who had a serious fall from a horse so many years ago. It was also a privelege to sit at Masonic tables and chat---What that man would do toa bowl of strawberries at festival---I wolfed down one bowl to his 3 1/2 one nite. Now he is in another world to continue his travels (how he loved traveling!) with his telegraphy key in one hand, his microphone in the other, stoppping somewhere for a knife-and-fork degree---and do not forget his big grinn as he would say"Them that deserves---GITS!" Enjoy you new travelss, old friend---my work is still here--Dah-di-dit--Doc Painter
