Duncan Hastie Obituary
HASTIE - Duncan Robinson born in North Battleford, Sask., June 10, 1923, passed away peacefully at 84 years of age on August 28, 2007 in Langley, BC. He is survived by his wife of 61 years of marriage Ada Hastie (Anuroff), his four children Patricia Allex (Dave), Richard Hastie (Arlie), Linda Best (Bill) and Bill Hastie (Martha), 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, three siblings Gwen Houchen (Ken), Jim Hastie and Wendy Foersterling, several nieces and nephews and a great deal of good friends. Rick Hastie Jr. was by his side when he died. He will be remembered for his laughter that he brought to the faces around him, his constant acts of kindness and generosity and his bold honesty. He will be in our hearts forever through the many stories that he shared and the adventures that he lived.
