I will always cherish the time I had with Dwayne. One in particular was a couple of years ago when he was in Canada for a quick visit. We spent the afternoon at a local country fair in Drumbo Ontario and of course we stopped at the bee display and chatted with the owner. It was a special day

Dr. Anderson saved my life not 1, but 3 times following each stroke about a year ago. I am living a rather normal life thanks to him. My family and I will be forever thankful for him. I hope his family knows how much he means to so many.

Dr Anderson meant as much to me during my ENT/head and neck surgery training as any other physician I encountered. I spent many hours in his reading room reviewing scans, he was always willing to help and teach.
Late in my training my 2 year old son was found to have a skull base tumor...Dr Anderson stayed late that night, when not on call, and performed a CT guided biopsy to help with our diagnosis. He was not asked to do this, he went above and beyond what he was expected to do.
I think of him often and will remember him always.
His passing is a loss for the medical community.

I remember Dr. Anderson´s first day in special procedures at OLOL. He walked into the control room with his welcoming smile, ready to get to work. That smile and his passion for helping everyone that he encountered never changed!! When thinking about him and the difference that he has made in so many lives, it´s hard to just share one or two stories, because in every story that I can remember, the end result was Dr. Anderson showed up and did what he did the best, and that is performing procedures that saved lives, improved lives, and extended life. His skill, compassion, and dedication is unmatched! Rest in power Dr. Anderson. Condolences to his wife and his children whom he often spoke fondly about.

My brother was the most loving, caring, intelligent, funny supportive talented doctor I know. I could go on, he was a rare gem. For many of us, our lives won´t be the same without Dwayne.
My memories I will always cherish, they will never fade. My heart will heal and the pain will lessen overtime but I will never forget. Dwayne has a special place in my heart. He fought the battle with all he had. You were so calm and brave. Your spirit will remain and live on in many of us including your 2 amazing beautiful children. I will never forget you my amazing and much loved and admired brother.

My heart breaks for Dr. Anderson's family and friends. For a man with such an extraordinary reputation for being top in his field, he was always so kindhearted, genuine, and humble. I've asked him so many questions at work, usually feeling embarrassed about taking up even a minute of this great man's precious time. He never seemed rushed or annoyed. Always eager to teach, always eager to help patients and his coworkers. A truly remarkable soul we were blessed to have and will miss so much.

I am so saddened by this news. Dr. Anderson was one of my early mentors as a medical student and helped guide me toward a career in radiology. At various points in our Medical training, we all find those physicians we want to model our careers after and Dr. Anderson was one of mine. I`ll miss him.

Dr. Anderson was one of the most amazing, humble and down to earth human being I ever met. Always smiling and willing to help everyone. I can´t remember a single time he said "No" when I asked for help during the many years we worked together. I was honored to get to know him and share all those years with him as my mentor. The OLOL Radiology Department will not be the same. My condolences to his family.

Dr. Anderson (aka. Dr. A), Thank you for everything. One of the best radiologist I have ever known. Genuinely kind, fun, hard working, and always going above and beyond to help everyone. You will surely be missed but not forgotten. It was an honor to have met you and a pleasure working with you ever since I started my career. He will be missed dearly! Thank you Dr. Anderson!

We describe Dwayne as wise, kind, caring, accomplished, genius, mentor and a role model. Big brother has always been there to lend his support and give a story to go with it! We are forever amazed at his ability to excel in everything yet he was always humble. He was a corner stone to our family and will be greatly missed.

It was my honor and pleasure to work with Dr. Anderson all these years, and to observe firsthand, not only his great talent as an interventional Nuro radiologist, but his demeanor in dealing with patients (including myself), and, of course, the way he led an exemplary private life.
It is difficult to say goodbye to one so cherished, and to know that he will be missed profoundly.
