Dwayne was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure to know at St. Joseph Hospital. He and I talked about kids quite a bit, our co-workers and how much they meant to us, and life in general. A kinder, gentler soul one would be hard-pressed to find. God bless his family in their time of need. Give them the strength to hold on until they see Dwayne again.

I met Dwayne at St. Joseph Hospital while I worked in the laundry. I left in 1996. I was very sick and had my leg amputed but while I was in the hospital Dwayne came by to encourage me to fight for my life and just trust in God. I know that God sent him to me that day. I just want to say to the Family to keep your hands in God hands and he will provide all your needs.

Dwayne was always fun-loving and happy. Whenever we saw each other it was warm and we always joked around about where has the other one been because our paths did not cross as often as they used to. I will miss him dearly.

Dwayne was a wonderful man and co-worker. I moved to Houston last summer and he used to tell me stories about life in Houston,trying to make me feel at home in a new place. He will be missed. My prayers are with you.
