Pat, I am so sorry about Dwight. I just happened to come across this on the internet. I will share with other family members. I thought a lot of Dwight. Of course, with him being 1/2 Hendrix, I knew he was a good fellow! I'm sorry we did not live close to visit. I know you will miss him. I pray all will go OK with you. It's hard to lose a spouse.

Dwigiht was a very good friend. When I had heart bypass surgery, he came to the hospital and helped me take my first walk around the hall. After I was allowed to resume normal life, Dwight and I walked together two or three times a week, and joined friends for coffee and conversation at McDonalds. He had a positive outlook on life and made others feel good in our conversations. I really miss him, but I know he is in a better place.

Dwight was my dad I can remember he always had time for me when I was young. My favorite memory about him was when I was in the 6th grade. I was on a walk with dad around the neighborhood talking about my day at school. We decided to race back to the house and I was determined to beat him back home. Even though he was slightly out of shape he was still able to beat me to the house by several feet. He always new what to say.

Dwight was my best friend. When Pat called to tell me of Dwight's death, I fell to tears for the first time in over forty tears. Dwight always had a positive, helpful attitude about life. The day after my heart bypass operation he came to the hospital and accompanied me on my first walk! After I recovered from the surgery, we walked together twice a week. You can't ask for a better friend than one who helps you improve your health. I will miss him greatly.

Dwight was an extraordinarily good soul. I admire his love for Pat and his family. He had such good humor and was so willing to sub in our bridge group, playing happily with a bunch of neighborhood ladies when one of us was late or had to leave early. Love, sympathy, hugs, and condolences to all.
