Dwight Twilley

I bought Twilley LP in Wellington NZ in early 80´s. I had never heard of him but a friend recommended him.

I grew up with Dwight's music so I have a lot to remember and love

I was late to learn about Dwight and his music, but I was moved by it and how he even made covers his own, or in many cases his and Phillip's own. RIP and TY

Dwight was a classmate of mine & also lived in my neighborhood. I remember seeing Dwight´s artwork in his teenage years, he was as brilliant an artist as well as a musical genius. Gone too soon ,

Big fan since the 70's. Saw several shows, met him. What a sweet, sweet man. I share your grief. Love and Light to all.

Always appreciate the creative geniuses, that made rock-n-roll what it was/is...a big part of music history...that supplied the rhythm for years of dancing and singing along. Thanks to Dwight, who made the music, the memories, and did it with his unique, original sound. It's a gift.

First memory was seeing his band play live on stage in "Sunset Grill" on Peoria Ave in Tulsa in the middle 80's. The announcer mentioned that his band was in from Los Angeles and will set up to play. About midnight the music started and my first reaction was how much better the sound was, compared to the previous local bands. Since then I saw him play live several times and thoroughly enjoyed them all. I was a fan since the 70's "I'm on Fire". I am grateful I got to converse with him and get some autographs In Jenks recently.

play that funky music dwight boy...so said rolling stone magizine, we were so proud , one of our own, id see him at the tulsa airport all the time.
