DWIGHT A.
Age 62, of Ambridge, formerly of Coraopolis, passed away at home, on Friday, May 2, 2014, surrounded by his children. He was born April 24, 1952, in Sewickley to the late Dwight and Frances (Volpe) Yocum. Dwight was employed by Shenango Steel on Neville Island since 1974 and retired from there in 1999. He was married to Rosemary Cooper of Coraopolis with whom he had four children. Dwight was humerous, outspoken, and a kind family man. He coached Pee Wee football and baseball in the Coraopolis and Moon Township area and was a mentor to many. He led a brave and courageous fight with multiple sclerosis since being diagnosed in 1999. Dwight is survived by his children, Sean (Amy) Yocum of Moon Twp., Jennifer Yocum and fiancé, Jake Meier of Murrysville, and Mark (Tracy Steele) Yocum of Coraopolis; seven grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Galloway, Jacob, Jessica and Zachary Yocum, and Jake and Julia Meier; brother, Glenn (Beth) Yocum of Erie; two nieces and a nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen, in 2004; and most recently a son, Lance A. Yocum, in April of 2011, whom he greatly missed. Visitation COPELAND'S, 867 Fifth Ave., Coraopolis, on Tues. from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The family is asking that donations be made in Dwight's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Western PA, 1501 Reedsdale St., Ste. 105, Pgh., PA 15233.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dwight was a smart, funny, loving man who will be missed. I am unable to attend today, but I wanted to let you know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
