Dwight Zulauf

I first met Dwight at Massey University when he was a visiting professor. He and Lee became good friends that lasted over decades and oceans. we had some lovely holidays together, in New Zealand and in Washington State (plus visits to Vancouver Island).

In spite of distance, Dwight was an amazing mentor to my daughters as they studied at New Zealand universities. He always had such wise words and a calming presence to us all.

Over the years I've thought about him lots and I miss him so much.

So sorry to hear of Dr Zulauf's passing. He was my favorite professor at PLU. I graduated with a degree in business in 1969 at a time when women were not encouraged to purse a degree in business. He was always encouraging and was there for me when I needed to support.

Dr. Zulauf, your kindness and dedication will always be remembered. As a teacher and mentor, there isn't any comparison.
You were the best.

Dr. Z. was an absolutely wonderful person and professor -- not only for his knowledge, which was exemplary, but for his concern for his students, which was what made Dr. Z. so loved by all of the accounting students at PLU. Always a gentleman and touched so many lives. Dwight was more than a prof; he was a mentor through quiet example. I took one course from him, the content of which was so relavant. Sure glad I was able to have a word or two with him a few years ago!

Dr. Zulauf was an excellent Accounting instructor and mentor. My youngest son and Two grandchildren are now C.P.A.'s
