Bernaldo Rojas Obituary
He retired from Hess Refinery in St. Thomas, VI, before he made his home in Newport News, Va., and later he moved to Hampton, Va.
He is survived by his spouse, Antonia Martinez Rojas of Lancaster, Pa.; four children, Lisette Rojas of West Palm Beach, Fla., Carlos Rojas (Christine) of Lancaster, Pa., Maria Rojas of Lancaster, Pa., and Bernaldo Rojas Jr., of Loganville, Ga.; seven sisters and brothers, Asilda Thomas (Mike) of Chicago, Ill., Sonia Castro of St. Thomas, Juan Davila Jr. of St. Thomas, Carmen M. Davila of Hitchcock, Texas, Orlando Davila of Newport News, Va., Samuel Davila of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Sandra Davila of St. Thomas. He leaves behind a special friend, Gloria Majette of Hampton, Va.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009, at M. E. Fisher Funeral Home Chapel, 2117 Madison Ave., Newport News, VA 23607. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009, at the funeral home. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will meet at 1625 West Pembroke Ave., Apt 15 in Hampton, Va.
