E. Wayne Griffith

Joy and family,
Mr. Griffith was a great friend, teacher, mentor and golf partner. He is truly missed.

I’m so sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing! He certainly had a successful life in so many endeavors. I hope you are doing well!!

Dear Joy, we are saddened to learn of Wayne’s passing. He left this life too soon. We hope your memories and family provide you comfort. Wayne certainly lived a great life and the impact he made on thousands of students will be a legacy.

Wayne was a leader of the BRHS Follies along with Jim Hartung and Jerry Lancio. A favorite teacher for all.

First coach at Broad Run in fall of 1969. Good with us kids. He will be missed.

Wayne hired me straight out of Virginia Tech back in 1983! He was a cheerful principal to students, teachers and staff members alike. Praying for his family during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

Frank & I knew Wayne through little league baseball and LLBFL(Sterling Park).
Wayne came by our son's house occasionally to watch some sporting event and we always enjoyed his company.
We knew him best through his son Mike who loved his dad and always kept us abreast of how he was doing.
Our sincere sympathies go out to the Griffith family and may E.Wayne Rest in Peace.

Wayne hired me when he opened PFHS. He believed in me and gave me the job that I had always wanted - to be a high school choral director.

He was always cheering on the arts at Potomac Falls, and he gave us support while still allowing us to work in our own ways.

I will always be grateful to Wayne for giving me that start.

Wayne was principal at Broad Run High School when I first started teaching. He was a great principal. Condolences to his family.

Keeping the Griffith family in thoughts and prayer. Sending hugs and much love for comfort. Jim and I will always be grateful for all of your support at Potomac Falls as our principal.
