We communicated around the coffee-break table and in human service conference. Since retirement I've wondered often where and you were--now I know.

Thank you all for your kind words about my dad. It has been a tough year, but God keeps, blesses, and protects His children. May He continue to bless you all.

Let us remember that our physical death isn't the end, but rather is a step forward in our Heavenly Father's plan and a time of indescribable joy for the person making the transition. When you're the ones left behindthe ones losing a loved onethe pain of that loss is very real. But there's a lot of comfort in knowing you'll see them again. May God bless you and your family.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Mr. Goosby was always a very pleasant gentleman. I always referred to and addressed him as Chief. I will always cherish his memory. May he Rest In Peace.

As a young man, fresh out of college in 1965, I began my Social Work career at the Lake County Welfare Department. I was so fortunate to find a friend in Mr. Goodby. To his family I send my condolences to you for having such a wonderful kind man and to Earl I wish you eternal happiness in Heaven.
