In memory of

Earl and I go back to grade school together. Over the years growing up in Frankfort we played a lot of baseball together and against each other in the Frankfort parks baseball leagues. He was a very good player, totally team oriented and would do anything to help his team win. We were fortunate to play on several Babe Ruth League state championships and journeyed onto regional baseball tournaments. When we were high school seniors he was the big time catcher and I was a pitcher. We developed a very tight bond the year.
He had an old Large, I mean LARGE green car and we´d go out a lot. Drive through Frisch´s parking lot and all around town.
He went onto KSU to play baseball and I went to UK
We played each other several times, he loved the game.
When he went into law enforcement we sort of lost touch but even over the years there was always that strong bond from our days in high school and baseball
Knowing Earl I am certain he excelled at every job over his lifetime

Two years older but grew up w Earl. He was a good baseballer, a Catcher. He handled us Pitchers at FCHS really well. Earl lost his brother Jack, my age, a few years ago. Earls mom was very present at games, Rosemary. Miss those days. Good memories. Psalm 16:11. Heartfel condolences to the family. Grace2u in Christ...

On behalf of those who understand the sacrifices Earl and your family made as he worked to make the world a safer place, I offer my condolences. DEA breeds a different kind of person and I can only imagine the kind of man Earl was based on the comments offered by others. R.I.P. brother.

I had the privilege of meeting Earl at DEA HQs but got to know him better when we both worked at the Federal Air Marshal Service. Earl was a genuinely good guy who was dedicated to doing his best to stand up a new agency. May Earl Rest In Peace and may his Memory be Eternal.

I first met Earl in 1988 and worked with him in Detroit Group 3 for several years. He was a mentor and friend. Our relationship continued in DEA HQ from 2002 -2004. Earl and I remained friends and played fantasy football for the past 20 years together. I, along with the other 13 league members, were saddened by his passing and will miss him dearly. May God bless him and his family.

I met Earl in 2004 on his first day with the US Federal Air Marshals Service at WFO. Earl´s office was near my office in the squad bay and we immediately became good friends. We spent countless lunches together and I enjoyed his wisdom and humor. Earl was focused on two things in life, his family and sports. I will miss you brother.

I started working for the US Secret Service in 1975 and retired in 1998 as a Supervisor in our Dignitary Protection Division. After 9-11 I went to work as a supervisor with the US Air Marshals in their WFO office and that´s where I meet Earl. I worked with him until I retired in 2016. Living in Herndon, VA, I used to tease Earl about working at the Herndon golf course and not being a golfer. I remember Earl as one of the one of good guys and I have a lot of good memories of our time working together. He will be missed and I´m sure he is in a better place now.
Sincerely,
Frank Young

I worked with Earl at the Detroit DEA office as a Task Force Officer and he was one of the best people to work with. I am sure he became a Wing Nut because of his time in Detroit, as it seemed all DEA agents who came to Detroit became a fan of the area. My condolences to his family.

And I was with Al Rose when he was recruited in Kentucky so many years ago. He was a strong candidate and we knew he was he kind of man we wanted as a DEA Special Agent, and both Al and I and all of the many SA's that worked with him later knew we were all correct. RIP

Sorry to hear this sad news - Earl (Jeep) was a good guy and teammate at K-State. I had the pleasure of seeing him at homecoming a few years ago at school and up here in Detroit at a Super Bowl Party a few years ago. It was always good conversation about our college days. RIP. Kevin Threatt (Nut)

I´ve known Earl and Nancy together when they first met. (My favorite cousins) I still have pictures of the two of them riding my mopeds in the 70´s. Earl and Nancy came to visit a few years ago here in Saratoga and was so glad to see him and them again even if for a short time. Our littlest dog, Sarg, even took to Earl...Everyone who met Earl loved him. You will be missed cuz.
