RAGLAND, Earl Sr. 78 of Springfield, departed this life at 6:18A.M. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in Community Hospital. He was born June 12, 1929 in Springfield, Ohio a son of Asa and Everzene (Foster) Ragland. Mr. Ragland enjoyed times with his family and friends. He was a unique mechanic and had totally built a car from scratch. He served his country in the U.S.Army and he was employed as a building contractor for many years. Mr. Ragland leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Joan (Orr) Ragland, three sons and two daugheters-in-law, Earl and Gloria Ragland, Jr., Marcus and Lisa Ragland and Benson Ragland, three daughters, Monica Ragland, Katie Underwood and Lacretia Edley, a deovted sister, Catherine L. Hansboro, eighteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, two aunts, Alberta Hall and Dorothy Turner, two nephews, James G. Belle and Anthony Lamont Hansbro, a niece, Kimberly Ann Hall, a special friend, Paula Phelps and a number of cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation for Mr. Ragland will be Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Fuenral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday with Bishop James G. Belle officiating. The family will reiceve friends at 205 W. Liberty St. Funeral arrangements are by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.

I will never forget the "good old days" on Dibert Ave, Liberty St. and Sydner Park's family picnics.
