Mr. Wog was my geometry teacher and driver's ed teacher at Highline High School in the early 80's. I will always remember his wide smile and the way he would always encourage each student with a compliment or uplifting comment. I still check to make sure that passengers in my car have their seat belts on before I start the engine!
On behalf of the thousands of students he inspired over the duration of his teaching career...thanks, Mr. Wog. You will be missed.

Earl was a legend as a Highline teacher when I was just starting my career in 1974. He was a highly respected teacher and I enjoyed having the opportunity to be a colleague of his. I also enjoyed listening to the many escapades the young teachers use to get into as related by Ken Van Diest.

Mr. Wog was a true inspiration to me as my driving instructor--and as he said, if we dont wear our seatbelts we will get in an accident and true to his word, it did happen. He will be greatly missed and remembered!

I knew Earl as both a very good end on Highline's '47 football team, then as a fellow educator for many years in the Highline school district.
