Earnie was not only my brother in law, but my friend. We share alot of good times and a few bad as well, I guess that comes with friendship. Earnie was so smart, I believe he could fix almost anything.I learned so much from Earnie about working on cars and carpentry and just about everything. Even though I haven't seen Earnie for a few years. I can still see his face in my memory. He will always be in my heart. I will never forget him or the things I learned from him. It hurts me so much to loose a friend like Earnie. God has taken him home and he's up there in heaven , Paving streets of gold. Teresa, Paula, Donna and Russell I'm so sorry and my prays are with you all

Thank you all for thinking of my dad. We have had much support from so many people and we are lucky to have many friends and family to help us through the difficult time.

My condolences to the family. Earnie was a childhood friend of mine. We spent many good times as kids growing up on Harricane Creek, exploring our world and playing. I knew Earnie, Ranny, Dreama well. And I remember Nadeen, although, she was a little older. And Wanass also became a good friend of mine later. As I grow older, I often reflect on the memories of my childhood, and less than a week ago I was wondering, what ever become of Earnie and others that I spent my childhood with. Please know that Earnie was well thought of and is, and well be missed. Jim

My condolences to all of Earnie's family. We went to grade school together at Boyd School. When I was little my parents were always around all of you. I felt like you were family. My Dad (Virgil Childress) and Ross were very close as well as all of you older boys. God bless you all. Kay (Childress) Hale
