There are no words to express the loss of your loved one (EBONY) but there is also no pain that God can not heal. Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. The Lord is good, a refugee in times of trouble. Jehovah-Shalom. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down your sleep will be sweet. The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those are crushed in spirit. Jehovah-Rapha.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
