Ed and I were good friends throughout our teen years and well into our twenties. He was also part of our wedding party. Our lives then took different paths from the mid 1960's until we met again in 2003,at which time we met his wife Patty. It was so good to see him again, the same Ed as I remembered.
He will be missed.

I met Ed 33 years ago when he gave me my first job and has been a mentor to me since. Ed and Patti have always been wonderful friends to me and my husband Larry throughout all of these years. He enjoyed sharing his stories about his trips (when Patti could get him away from the office). Ed liked nothing better than to discuss taxes - even a serious tax problem would light up his face.
He was a smart and well-respected man and was genuinely interested in everything and everybody. We will miss him deeply.

Buck met Ed too many years ago in Nakusp. They easily and quickly became friends. Then Ed also became the most trusted and reliable person he turned to keep the tax man off his back. Ed's wit and wisdom will be sorely missed. Our hearts ache for you Patty.

Ed will be sorely missed, a dear friend and trusted confidant for over 30 years. Easily the most non-judgemental person I've ever known, Ed didn't care where you came from, who you are or what you've done, if you treated Ed right he treated you right back with friendship and loyalty that lasts a lifetime.
