I recently learned of you and watched your last vid, I hope that was a good book. Game On Brother, a fellow Minecrafter.

While I may not have known TFC, I appreciate all the hard work he’s put in over the years. He was such a awesome man that had a very awesome laugh! TCF/Ed, I hope you have even more fun up there in heaven. Thank you.

Ed i think brought out the best of those online and hopefully around him. He was very down to earth online and seemed to be a constant source of positivity he touched my heart and i know im very late in sending this but it makes me happy at the thought of him healthy and still as always positive in heaven with his family and cat. I hope the family know that no matter what Ed has immortalised himself online and through the thousands of hearts he has touched he truly made peoples days.

I didn't know him, never got a chance to watch his videos but I will do this sometime. I remember seeing Grian's mentioning of his passing. He sounds like he was a very kind person and a cool dude. My thoughts and prayers for his family and may he rest in peace.

TFC/Ed was like a virtual grandpa, of sorts, to me, possibly others as well, so seeing him play video games at his age was very cool to see, his laugh and jokes hit home most moments, always knew it was gonna be a good day when he uploaded, Rest easy Chef, may wherever you're at be the best

TFC was an amazing person, his videos always made me (and I'm sure many others) happy. He will be missed greatly by family, friends, fellow hermits and fans daily. RIP to a minecraft legend

His last video was the first video of his I ever watched. His humor was bright, and he talked about how he read every comment on his videos. I left one saying that it was my first watch, and that I was excited for what came next. I checked back at the end of the week to see if we were gifted with an upload. Needless to say, his death caught me off gaurd.

With the recent deaths the past summer, I’ve spent a lot of time in my head, thinking about it. We are all unlikely individuals to have entered this world. And for the briefest moments in the history of this universe, we were able to connect. And from that briefest of connections sent a wave of impact.

I’m happy I was able to see a glimpse of the community he made.

Thanks for being great in times of hardship. You were always there no matter what happened to anyone, even yourself. It was always great to see you on the server whenever you could and we will miss that forever. See you soon man.

Ed, TFC, loved the content you created in your unique way. you will be missed.

Even though I'm just a teen, i have loved watching all of TFC's videos for several years. He brought a very unique side to Hermitcraft and YouTube which i have really enjoyed. His funny, sarcastic, and very true-to-himself personality was always entertaining. He was always so strong through everything and managed to make me smile through tough times in my own life. I will greatly miss seeing his upload notifications come up on my phone but I'm glad for the opportunity to have found him and let his light into my life. Thank you very much, may you rest in peace, TFC.

I know a lot of people writing on this have come from Hermitcraft, because that is what TFC is amazingly known for. He will be absolutely missed. I will miss his voice through the mic and the quirkiness of how he made his content. Most Minecraft/Hermitcraft fans didn't get Tinfoil Chef and his style (both video & play), but TFC was my favorite Hermit. We had a lot in common by the way we liked to play Minecraft, our 'gripes' about Minecraft, to both being old and old school. His fans have been really protective of him through the years.

His death has really hit me hard and I never had the pleasure of meeting him; I cannot imagine the pain your family is going through. I have taken comfort in watching his older videos and remembering his wholesome laugh that always brightened my day and lessened my burdens. May all his fans make a branch mine to honor him.

Whenever I would feel overwhelmed and on the verge of an autism meltdown, id watch TFC. He was the one youtuber i knew about that would just play the game without yelling or goofy hijinks or whatever. He helped me so much and i just hope his family is okay.

Although I didn’t know him that well, I still am missing him. I found out about his passing when I had decided to start watching his videos, but I ended up being too late and now I miss him very much.

One of the things I appreciated most about TFC is that he lived life on his own terms and through it, put a smile on thousands of faces. Rest In Peace,TFC. You will always be remembered

My deepest condolences. I gravitated towards watching his videos as he reminded me of a man who once helped me escape a horrible relationship, many years ago, when I also lived in Tulsa. He'll definitely be missed, but he'll live on thru the legacy he's left us all.

Your personality and your sense of humor were so much like his.. when I first watched a video with you in it, I stopped short. I was in a very bad place. I never watched his videos, but what clips of him I saw showed a personality that was very satisfied with where and who he was. He always seemed so fulfilled in life, doing what he loved. I admired his personality and happiness.

A fan from your time on Hermit Craft. Although I hadn't watched a lot of your videos your laugh was always filled with joy in the ones I was able to see. You were always being yourself and having so much fun. You will be greatly missed but Never Forgotten. Rest for the night in peace TFC.

TFC was one of the first Hermits I found when I started watching Hermitcraft. His style of playing was refreshing and a welcome distraction from the others who all tried doing bigger and better than the season before. I always felt a little bad at the end of a season when everyone typically accomplished most of not all of their goals and TFC was still doing his own thing like the oblivious man at the end of the world, but he never seemed to mind and just rolled with it. It always felt like looking for TFC easter eggs in the other's videos to see if you could find his builds.

In all honesty, I never watched any of his videos, but I can say that I was a fan. I loved his determination and how he was always adamant to do his best while doing what he loved. I aspire to as confident and loving as he was. When I found out he had passed, I knew that the world had lost one of it's best souls that day. He will forever be apart of the Hermitcraft community. I will admit I have not watched any of his videos, but I am an avid fan of Hermitcraft. Even though I did not watch any of his videos directly, I have seen clips of him before. His wonderful personality and amazing sense of humor shone through, even in such short snippets. He has touched me and made me laugh and smile, even indirectly. He always did things at his own pace, too, which has inspired me, and I’m sure many others, to not feel rushed by the expectations that surround you.

I’m glad he is resting now, and I hope he’s watching over us from wherever he is now. I hope the grieving process isn’t too heavy for his family and friends. I’m keeping all of you in my thoughts.

While I didn't know him personally, the character he was online reminded me of my Dad (gone 12 years). TFC made me feel better and I adored his Laughter! I will miss him.

I knew of Edward as TFC and I appreciated/respected him for bringing us as his fanbase to a simpler, more fun time; One when people took their time in minecraft and lightly messed with our friends. I always loved hearing his voice teasing/trolling his friends when he would be hiding out of view during their videos. His laugh will forever be in our hearts as the community has lost an amazing and strong man. He went through so much but still made sure he gave amazing content out.

I first discovered one of Tinfoil Chef's food blogs by looking for what to do with a can of tuna, and I found his recipe for tuna pizza. He was completely correct, it was delicious. So I started looking around to see if he had any videos on YouTube, and found that he played Minecraft on a little server named Hermitctaft. I discovered a new game that I still play now, found a community of other hermits like him, and much like me, and my life has been richer for it.

I have pictures of my newborn premie son reclining in my arms while we watched a TFC Hermitctaft video. Both my kids would ask for that "hermit mycraft guy TFC" from as long as they could talk. And we would sit and watch as they fell asleep in my arms.

I have many great memories, and always considered TFC a friend, even if he didn't know me.

Thank you for all the years of great content. Your sense of humor and perspectives on life were unique and you'll be sorely missed. I hope you're enjoying the farlands.
