Tadeusz Stanislaw Stefanski M.D.

Tadeusz Stanislaw Stefanski, age 76, died at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth on June 23, 2012. He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Maryann (Adamo) Stefanski of Plymouth. Born in Poland on March 25, 1936, he was the son of the late Stanislaw B. and Celina (Wrobel) Stefanski. He was received hish High School Diploma in England, his Master's Degree in 1965 from Brooklyn College, NY, his Medical Degree from S.U.N.Y. Downstate Brooklyn, NY in 1971 and served his internship and medical residency at Long Island College Hospital from 1971 thru 1975. His residency on OB/GYN at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and became Board Certified in 1980. He practiced at Jordan Hospital as an Obstetrics/Gynocology physician from 1977 until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of the Mass Medical Society, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Prior to his college education, he had served in the US Army Medical Corps from 1959-1961. Dr. Stefanski had moved to tPlymouth in 1977, previously residing in Broolkyn, NY. Dr. Stefanski was the loving father of Susan Elizabeth Stefanski and Diana Marie Nascimento both of Nantucket, Ted Andrew Stefanski and his wife Melissa of Huntersville, NC and Michael Adam Stefanski and his wife Anita of Nantucket. He was also the cherished grand-father of Olivia Maria Nascimento. Funeral Services omitted.
