Eddie Jackson Obituary
JACKSON, Eddie Lewis Sr., a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away on November 21, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 a. m. at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church of Jesus Christ, Burkville, AL, with Elder George A. Johnson, Pastor, with Elder James O'ree officiating. Interment will be held at McQueen Cemetery with E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Josephine Jackson; brothers, Willie Jackson, Jr., and Chester Jackson; sister, Sadie Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Dr. Eddie (Dr. MyrCheryl) Jackson, Jr. (Montgomery, AL), Marcus (Shunda) Howard (Atlanta, GA); Keshia Townsend (Montgomery, AL), Heather (Ladelle) Amison (Birmingham, AL), Crystal Jackson (Montgomery, AL); one brother, Deacon Henry (Edwina) Jackson(Montgomery, AL); three sisters, Alice Mae Jackson, Mary Louise Jackson, both of Hope Hull, AL and Eleanor Goins of Montgomery, AL; sisters-in-law, Ruby ( Deacon John) Dill, Thelma (William) Myrick, and Kim ( Deacon Renard) Hatcher; brothers-in-law, Deacon Willie James (Muzette) Thomas, Deacon Armster (Pamela) Thomas, Perkie (Adrienne) Thomas, Edward (Gwendolyn) Thomas, Otis (Jacqueline) Thomas, and Anthony (Chandra) Thomas; loving mother-in-law, Mary G. Thomas; aunt, Rosie Lee Jackson; grandchildren, Brent Jackson, Lauren Amison, Brayden Jackson, Bryce Jackson, Brooke Amison, Marcus Howard, Jr., Nicholas Townsend, and Bailey Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many devoted friends. The body of Mr. Jackson will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral service in the church.

Knowing Mr. Jackson as my contractor and a dear friend has restored my faith in kindness and professionalism. He always presented himself as a good person and having his wife as a childhood friend and classmate was such an honor and a priviledge. Good people united again. God's plans are awesome in such unexplainable ways. Our neighborhood will not be the same, Rest in peace,

What can we say about our brother(Gee)who was called home from us without a final goodbye? We have always loved him and will continue to love him, even after death. He had a heart of gold and would give you his last, without hesitation. We rarely ever saw him when he wasn't smiling, he was not only our brother but our friend. We loved him dearly and wanted him to stay but God had something else in mind. You and Josephine are re-united once again. We will see you all also in the sweet bye and bye. We will always have much love for you, our brother!!!

It's really hard to say anything. Mr.& Mrs. Eddie Jackson has been my neighbors for over 30 years and were very good neighbors. Such a loving family and now time has taken them from their children.
